Alexis shadowed our Sports Director, and Newroom Reporter. On 4/01/11 We held the 12th Annual Pie Auction to benefit the
American Cancer Society raising $12,325.00, and had 1 15 minute Program once a month from January 2011 to June 2011, along with Psa’s. On 5/16/2011 Danette Dallgas-Frey was involved with Reagan Middle School/City of Dixon which involves students in the running of local Government. Danette was partnered with Kennidy Summers on how The local news media covers local city government. This contributes Towards the FCC requirement of "participation in at least Four events or programs sponsored by educational institutions Relating to career opportunities in broadcasting." ADDITIONALLY: WSDR/WSSQ/WZZT PARTICIPATED IN THE FOLLOWING GOODWILL ACTIVIITES: HOSTED CUB SCOUT TOURS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR. MONTHLY CITY OF STERLING AND CITY OF ROCK FALLS 15 MINUTE PROGRAMS. Participated in the 75th Anniversary of the Rock Falls
Rotary club. Participated in the Let’s Feed Our Children FREE Summer Lunch Program with Program and PSA’s. Gold Sponsor for the 3rd Annual Blues Fest 7/15 & 7/16/11,
